• Installation is performed using a power digger. An anchor wrench fits over the square hub and a torque measurement device is required to determine proper installation.
• Correct installation is achieved only when the anchor is installed using the appropriate torque for the particular soil and anchor type.
• Installation torque is usually measured using a device connected in series with the wrench, digger, and Kelley Bar during installation.
• Holding strength per soil class with 3/4" rod:
• Soil Class 2: 38000 lbs (Limited by rod strength)
• Soil Class 3: 32000 lbs (Limited by rod strength)
• Soil Class 4: 26000 lbs (Limited by rod strength)
• Soil Class 5: 22500 lbs
• Soil Class 6: 17500 lbs
• Soil Class 7: 14000 lbs
• Holding strength per soil class with 1" rod:
• Soil Class 2: 38000 lbs (Limited by rod strength)
• Soil Class 3: 32000 lbs
• Soil Class 4: 26000 lbs
• Soil Class 5: 22500 lbs
• Soil Class 6: 17500 lbs
• Soil Class 7: 14000 lbs
