Allied Bolt (Referred to as Allied Bolt Products LLC after 2012) is a global supplier of hardware and components that support the telecommunication and power utility industries. Headquartered in Lake Success New York, Allied Bolt currently maintains inventory in New Jersey, North Carolina, Florida, and California. Allied Bolt is incorporated in the State of New York since 1955.

Allied Bolt was started by Herbert Malin and is currently owned and managed by his son, Glen. Glen Malin has a Bachelor’s of Science degree from the George Washington University and started at Allied Bolt in 1987. He became President in 2002.


Allied Bolt products are grouped into nine primary categories: Earth Anchors, Poleline Hardware, Aerial Drop Hardware, Drop Attachments, Grounding Hardware, Banding, Tools, Wall Anchors, and Fasteners.


These nine product categories safely provide the equipment necessary to bring high speed data, landline phone service, digital television service, satellite television service, and electrical power distribution to urban and rural homes. Allied Bolt also provides products for supporting and maintaining electrical transmission lines.


Through a corporate initiative, Allied Bolt maintains and continues to develop diversity vendors. Allied Bolt is also committed to helping promote a sustainable environment and has implemented many green initiatives in the production, warehousing, and packaging of its products. Allied Bolt is committed to sourcing materials and components from companies that value and respect human rights. Allied Bolt supports the conflict minerals rule outlined in the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act and undertakes every reasonable effort to ensure any materials sourced from miners or smelters are located outside the ‘conflict region’.

Allied Bolt makes every effort to ensure that its components meet the E.U. Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) regulations entered into force in July 2011. Allied Bolt does not directly provide ‘electrical and electronic equipment’. However, Allied Bolt does produce components such as grounding hardware intended for use on meter boxes and items used in other electrical applications. In such instances, Allied Bolt can provide a declaration of compliance if requested at time of ordering.
